Just like our fresh red chili paste, we pick green chilies at the peak of flavor and create a thick, flavorful paste, easy to use in any recipe. Here is just one way to use this product.

SANTA CRUZ ROASTED GREEN CHILI SAUCE

1 Tbs. flour
2 Tbs. oil
2 cups Santa Cruz Roasted Green Chili Paste
3-4 cups hot chicken broth
1 cup saut?ed nions
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. oregano

Brown flour and oil in a saucepan. Add chili paste, broth, onions and spices and simmer gently for 15 minutes. Note: For thicker sauce use less liquid or thin to gravy consistency and use over enchiladas, burros, chimichangas or to flavor any meat dish.
