This authentic one-of-a-kind long Eagle Hand-Carved North American Ironwood Sculpture Measures approximately 3.5in H x 9.5in L x 4.5in W. This unique Wildlife Decor piece is meticulously crafted from native ironwood by local artists. This wood is named for it's very heavy weight and hard texture which is very difficult to carve, but has a complex grain and rich natural finish that needs no laquer.

Our Eagle Hand-Carved North American Olneya Ironwood dominoes set box measures approximately 3.5 inches high x 9.5 inches long x 4.5 inches wide. NOTE: Dimensions may vary slightly as each piece is individually hand carved. This is a unique Wildlife Decor item made in North America.
Top and bottom of domino box and all dominoes are made from authentic natural ironwood. Box contains a full set of 28 hand carved, polished and painted dominoes. Each domino measures 2in x 1in x3/8in. This is an authentic art piece crafted in the Sonoran Desert from native Olneya ironwood by Sunland Artisans, a consortium of nearby skilled artists. Found almost exclusively in the desert of Arizona, this tree is truly one of nature's wonders. North American desert ironwood gets its name from its amazing hardness and heavy weight (similar to petrified wood). Though this wood is very difficult to work, it is meticulously carved and etched to reveal incredible detail. It is then sanded and polished to bring out the rich, dark grain and unique personality of the wood. The end result is an amazingly smooth hard finish remarkably achieved with no lacquer or varnish. Due to its extreme density, it is resistant to water, scratches and stains. And it's very easy to clean with a damp cloth. Occasional treatment with paste shoe polish and light buffing will give this art piece a rich shine and bring out the intricate detail of the wood. This item ships directly from Southern Arizona, USA, home of the Ironwood Forest, America's largest concentration of Olneya Tesota trees.
